The Rupturing

It is inevitable
The Rupturing
For we can run
But we cannot hide from ourselves
For we are two in one
The servant and son
A master and slave
Who’s deadened with rage
One thinks they may escape
There’s no escaping yourself
One believes they can run
One can’t run from the guilt
Of trying to fit into the box of society
Instead of eliminating the root of perverse propriety
So here we are
Two sides of a being
Expanding, imploding and finally, Rupturing
For until we accept
The secret man within
We will become the monster
We were afraid of to begin
