Happiness Writhe

Sometimes I wonder
If I’m too far from home
Sometimes I wonder
If the seed I have is sown
But then I look at the covers
And see her writhe and moan
And I think to myself
“I’m not alone.”
Because she’s dirty and she’s clean
She’s the one for me
When no one’s around
And I’m really down
She pats me on the back
Gives a kiss on the cheek
And I think to myself
I can do anything
So I don’t doubt myself
Or the life I live
Because I know she’s right there
With her life to give
We share everything, like my wine and her glass
We enjoy a good movie and importantly last
We knows the rules of time
And where to draw the line
