SandSound

The night wore on
But I didn’t notice
The moon fell up
As it was melodious
My life in a box
With the waves all around
No better end seeing
That I was a sound
Yes, I was a sound
On life’s one sheet of days
Mingled with others
To create relationship rays
And when the the sun or the moon
(I do not know which)
Would show you the way
Or how to find that small niche
You knew it was good
That life had a purpose
Like a sandbox at the beach
For the toddler
In the backseat
